Wanda Faye Burkhart

Wanda Faye Burkhart, 69, of Weatherford, went to be with her Lord Saturday, April 19, 2014.  Wanda was born June 13, 1944 in Weatherford to Myrtle and Charlie Phillips.
Wanda was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary and lounge manager at the American Legion Post 163 in Weatherford.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren and working in her yard.  She enjoyed reading and trips to Winstar.
Mrs. Burkhart is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Allen Burkhart and a sister, Mickey Tuley.
Survivors include her daughters, Alesia Stewart and husband, Tommy, Debbie Smotherman and husband, Kevin and Vikki Miller and husband, Hank; six grandchildren, Rusty Stewart, Colt Stewart, Hunter Smotherman, Blair Smotherman, Hana Miller and Hayden Miller; three great grandchildren, Matt Stewart, T.J. Stewart and Hudson Smotherman; sister, Shirley Clark and a brother, Rickey Phillips.


Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.  There will be a private graveside service.
