Wanda "Jeanie" Whipps

  Wanda “Jeanie” Whipps, 86, of Weatherford, Texas, went to be with the Lord on November 15, 2023. She was born March 12, 1937, to Jones Modrall and Erma (Coffee) Modrall.

  She was predeceased by her husband, James Whipps; parents, Jones and Erma Modrall; and siblings, Fred, Lola Mae, Morilla and Judy.

  Wanda is survived by her children, Rod Whipps, Rhonda Garrett, and Michael Whipps; her eight grandchildren, Natasha Azua, Jennifer Whipps, Josh Whipps, Tony Whipps, Erica McMasters, Megan Whipps, Christopher Whipps, and Trevor Whipps; and her twelve great grandchildren, Alex Azua, Briana Azua, Averie Mijarez, Ariana Garcia, James Whipps, Josiah Roberts, Deven McMasters, Dwight McMasters, Derick McMasters, Stormie Whipps, Athena Whipps, and Lila Knauf.

  Wanda will be remembered for her love of family, her kindness, and her pure and beautiful soul; she touched the lives of all who knew her and helped anyone in need. She was an amazing artist who loved oil painting, crocheting, and puzzling. She will be deeply missed by many.

  A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm St., Weatherford, Texas 76086. Burial to follow at East Greenwood Cemetery.

  A time of visitation with the family is scheduled from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
