Wando Cheek, age 85, passed from this life, Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at his residence. Wando was born December 12, 1930 in Fort Spunky, TX to Otto and Ima Cheek. He was a retired Crane Operator for Texas Steel Company, a Farmer and a member of the Calvary Worship Center in Grand Prairie. Wando loved his family especially his Grand Children.

Wando is survived by his Sons, Anthony Cheek and wife Vicki of Grand Prairie, Monte Cheek of Rainbow, Sisters, Wanda Sparks of Rainbow, and Maureen Gray of Glen Rose, 7 Grandchildren, and 2 Great Grandchildren

Visitation will be held in the Wiley Glen Rose Chapel Friday evening September 23 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm with the Funeral Ceremony 10:00 am. Saturday, September 24, 2016 at the Glenview Church of Christ in Glen Rose.
