Wayman "Bud" Royce Low

  Wayman "Bud" Royce Low, age 73, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025. Bud was born on November 29, 1951, in Brady, Texas, to Buster and Gladys (Regian) Low.

  Bud married the love of his life, Deborah Ann Ott, on November 20, 1971. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised two children, Angela and Michael.

  A proud patriot, Bud enlisted in the United States Air Force, anticipating the draft during the Vietnam Era. He served honorably as an ammunition specialist and retired in 1991 after 20 years of dedicated service. Following his military career, he worked in several lumberyards in Weatherford, Texas.

  In his free time, Bud was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and time spent at the gun range. He cherished moments surrounded by family and the great outdoors.

  Bud was preceded in death by his parents, Buster and Gladys Low, and his sister, Debra Low.

  He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Deborah Low, of Weatherford, Texas; daughter, Angela Feltner, and her husband, Michael; son, Michael Low, and his wife, Felecia; four grandchildren, Robert Low, Samantha Low, Phillip Low, and Sevina Low; two great-grandchildren, Lucas Low and Deborah Low; brother, Carlton Dayne Low, and his wife, Karen; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

  A visitation to honor Bud's life will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, in Weatherford, Texas.

  A graveside service with full military honors will take place at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.

  Bud will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, a loyal friend, and a man who lived his life with integrity and purpose. He will be deeply missed.
