Weldon Eugene Couch

Weldon Eugene Couch, 66, of Weatherford, passed away on Friday, May 28, 2021. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, June 5, 2021, Bankhead Church of Christ.

Weldon was born October 25, 1954, in Corsicana, Texas, to Bobby and Margaret Couch. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. On August 1, 1972, Weldon married Diane Boone and together had three children, Tabatha, Kenneth, and Lindsay. He enjoyed working with his hands and making ‘practically anything’ from wood or by welding. Weldon was always known for being a hard worker. He enjoyed teaching his family “how to shoot.” A devout Christian, Weldon enjoyed studying his Bible and preaching the Word of God and was a longtime member of Bankhead Church of Christ. Most of all, Weldon cherished time spent with his family and his brothers and sisters in Christ.

Weldon is survived by his wife, Diane; his children, Tabatha and husband, Lynn Harper, Kenneth and wife, Marie Couch, and Lindsay Martinez; his beloved grandchildren, Brittany, Landon, Dillon, Madison, Coy, and Aaron; his great-granddaughter, Oakleigh; his mother Margaret Louise Wehrmann; his brothers, Roy and wife, Debbie Couch, and Charles Couch; his sister, Kaye and husband, Tim Pilsl; and by numerous nieces and nephews.

Weldon was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Couch, and by his step-father, Henry Wehrmann.
