Wilbert Lee McFarland

Wilbert Lee McFarland passed away on February 2, 2019.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2019, at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel beginning at 10 am. A visitation will be held Tuesday night from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Wilbert was born on August 22, 1938 in Weatherford, Texas to the late Jim Harvey and Edna Tipton McFarland. He married his true love, Mary Lee, and together they enjoyed attending the Highschool Football games every week. Wilbert was known to have to two weaknesses, sweets and sports. He was always rooting for the Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys. He worked as a lineman for Southwestern Bell and after retiring began raising cattle. Wilbert supported various children’s home where he made donations religiously.
Wilbert was preceded in death by his wife; parents; sisters, Judy Sharp and Patsy Stephens; and brothers, Travis McFarland and Jim McFarland.
Survivors include his sisters, Maxine Moore and Mary Towles; friend, Coarl L. Listenbee; and a host of nieces and nephews.
