William Chester (Dub) Dale, age 91, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024. Born on November 8, 1932, in Dexter, Missouri, to William A. Dale and Myrtye (Keller) Dale, Dub led a fulfilling life filled with diverse experiences. Over the years, he pursued various business ventures including horse training, ostrich ranching, and operating a lawn service.
Dub was the truest of horseman! He won many world championships. Dub was recognized as the one to cross the mares with the right stallions. His eye for a good horse was impeccable and no one could compete with his knowledge in the horse industry. Dub was also part of working with the King Ranch, WT Ranch, and the 4 sixes.
He is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Letty Dale of Weatherford, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Rodney Jennings of Bridgeport, Texas; grandchildren: Justin, Austin, and Devon Sales; great-grandchildren: Jaeten, Jaci, Joey, Makennah, Ethan and Adrian; as well as numerous others who he claimed as his own.
In addition to his parents, Dub was preceded in death by his son, Matt Dale, and his sister, Joyce Massey.
A memorial service honoring Dub's life is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, in Weatherford, Texas.
Dub's legacy lives on through the memories he created with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew him.
