William Lee Roten

William Lee Roten, “Daddy Bill,” passed away peacefully, Tuesday, May 12, 2015  at his home in Weatherford, Texas surrounded by his family and friends.  He was born in Hamilton, Texas on April 22, 1937 to William C. Roten and Irene Brinkley.  He was a member of Deer Creek Lodge and a 55-year member of the IBEW.  He touched and influenced many peoples’ lives, but he was most proud of his wife, children, and grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Darrell Roten, and his nephew, Curtis Roten.  He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jane; daughter, Vicki Jutson and husband Danny; daughter, Tracie Roten and husband Jay Hussey; son, William Lee Roten, Jr., and wife Marcy Roten; 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and a large neighborhood family.  

Visitation Sunday May 17, 2015 6 pm to 8 pm at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Home, 913 North Elm, Weatherford, TX.  Funeral Monday May 18, 2015 at 10 am at South Hills Christian Church, 3200 Bilglade, Fort Worth, TX. Burial to follow at 4:00 pm at Live Oak Cemetery in Hamilton, TX.  In lieu of flowers, make a donation to Sarcoma Foundation of America.
