William Richard Barnes

William Richard Barnes passed away in Fort Worth, Friday, April 27, 2012 after a lengthy illness. William was born September 21, 1927 in Peaster Texas.
     Mr. Barnes was preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Susie Barnes, brothers, Horace, Clifton, Ira Pete, Hubert and Henry Barnes and a sister, Evelyn Harris.
     Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Billie Jean Barnes; son, Dennis Barnes; daughter, Sabrina Stoffels and husband, Tim; niece, Brenda Geeslin; nephews, Clarence Earl Harris, Donald Ray Harris, and Gary White and many friends and relatives.
Mr. Barnes was employed for 43 years at Allied Iron Works in Fort Worth. He was a long time member and trustee of the First Free Will Baptist in Weatherford.
     Visitation will be held on Monday, April 30, from 4-7 PM at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.  Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, May 1, at 10 AM at East Greenwood Cemetery with Pastor Josh Provow and Mr. Morris Brandon officiating.
Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
