William Richard Wiggs, age 83, of Frisco, died Thursday morning, September 22, 2011 in the Frisco hospital. Born November 24, 1927 in Weatherford, Texas. He was an Army Veteran, a painter, and a machinist. Until his retirement at age 76 he was an electrician working for STS Thompson “MOSTEK”. Richard served on the City Council of Marshall Creek for many years. He was preceded in death by Son, Richard Timothy Wiggs, Sisters, Nathalia Jean Andrews and May “Jimmie” Elizabeth Dollar and Brothers, Paul Melson and Alton Wiggs. Survivors: Wife – Mary Frances Wiggs of Frisco Daughter – Debra Kilgore and husband, Tom of Little Elm Step- Daughter – Donna Carol Price of Vernon, Sons – Clifton Gordon Wiggs and wife, Carol of Mansfield, Lance Alton Wiggs and wife, Becky of Weatherford, Step son – David Price and wife Robin, The Colony, Sisters – Faye Edwards and husband, Chris of Burleson, Sherry Clark and husband, Alan of Weatherford, Pauline Saul and husband, Wayne of New Mexico, Brother – Marx Edward Wiggs and wife, Linda of Weatherford, 17 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 10 AM Tuesday, September 27, 2011, in the Galbreaith Pickard Chapel with interment in the Baker Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM, Monday, September 26, 2011 at the funeral home.
