William Hugh Sorrell, Jr.

William Hugh Sorrell Jr., 83, of Azle, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, June 24, with his family by his side. Bill was born February 4, 1933, to William Sorrell, Sr. and Florence Dobbs Sorrell, in San Pedro, California. William was a Mason for over fifty years and Past Master for three lodges. He was a retired manager in the insurance industry. Bill enjoyed woodworking, watching football, and was a member of the Methodist Church.

Bill is survived by his wife of 64 years, Shirley; daughter, Judith Spurlin of Vinton, Louisiana; son, David “Scott” Sorrell and wife, Julie of Azle; and grandson, Ian Kuriger and wife, Morgan of Springtown.
