Willie Mae Hogue Lindsey 100 of Plano, Texas was called to her heavenly home on May 5, 2013. Willie Mae was born May 2, 1913 to Samuel McDowell Hogue and Rosa Brumbelow Hogue in Tull, Arkansas.
Willie Mae married Earl Lindsey on November 10, 1932 in Saline County, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Earl Lindsey, her daughter Blanche Lindsey Forrester and Son-in-Law Ron Forrester.
She is survived by her son Tom Lindsey of Plano, Texas, daughter Sandra Lindsey Bermingham and husband Jim Bermingham of Weatherford, TX. Grandchildren Ronda Forrester Smith, Debbie Forrester Short, Bill Forrester, Kim Lindsey Jones, Beverly Forrester Thompson, Karen Bermingham Holmes, Pam Bermingham Whan, Kristy Bermingham Howard, 21great grandchildren, Jordan, Joslyn, Allen, Aaron, Andrew, Patricia, Lindsey, Breann, Spencer, Austin, Landon, Hunter, Justin, Cody, Cortney, Corbin, Rylan, Trenton, Stephanie, Taylor, Wyatt, and 4 great great grandchildren, Madden, Aubree, Jack, Josie.
Willie Mae and husband Earl owned and operated Lindsey's Esso Station in Bauxite, Arkansas for many years. They were active in the Methodist church in Bauxite and other community activities. After retirement, they made their home in Bryant, Arkansas. Willie Mae was a wonderful cook, seamstress and gardener. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
A special thank you to her caregivers at Holland Lake Nursing Center in Weatherford, Texas for their loving care in her final days.
Graveside service will be at 1:00 pm, Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Forest
Hills Cemetery in Alexander, Arkansas.
Visitation will be from 6-8 pm,
Friday evening at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home, Benton Arkansas.
