  Wilson "Dub" Jones, 82, died Tuesday, May 1, 2007, in Annetta North. Born November 14, 1924, in Granfield, Oklahoma, he had resided in Parker County for many years. 

  Dub worked for American Bakery for thirteen and a half years. He was a member of South Main Church of Christ, was a volunteer firefighter in Parker County and loved to tinker with clocks and radios. 

  He served 2 1/2 years in the Army during World War II with a tour of duty in the Philippines. 

  Dub was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Myrt, in February 2006, and sons, Jimmy and Dennis Jones. 

  He is survived by his daughter, Billie Owens and husband, Robert, of Annetta North; son, Wilson "Bobby" Jones of Weatherford; sisters, Jane Pickett of Lubbock and Betty Hagan and husband, Joe, of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Martha Bailey, Debra Cargin, Tracy Jones, and Karen Horner; and ten great-grandchildren. 

  Funeral service: 2:00 p.m., Friday, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, with Rev Robert Owens and Minister Murphy Phillips officiating. Interment will be in Turner Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home.
