Yesenia (Yesii) Abigail Lyons

Yesenia (Yesii) Abigail Lyons, 24, had a zest for life that few ever attain to.

There are not many among the throngs of humanity that could even come close to the way she lived life with an immense capacity to love others, fight for being the best at all she set her mind to do, and to continually live & love selflessly. Whether it was Yesii’s ferocious loving commitment to her husband, steadfast devotion to her family, mind-blowing excitement about her job as a labor and delivery nurse, or her incredible adoration of animals; Yesii lived life to the end as the incredible fighter & lover that she embodied.

Yesenia graduated from OU in May 2021, with a BS in Nursing, where she was her class president. She most recently lived in Lawton Oklahoma with her husband, 1st Lt Michael Lyons. Although Yesenia was an Oklahoma transplant for a few years, she was an enthusiastically proud Texan through & through.

Yesenia contracted COVID in August. She bravely and fearlessly fought for almost 4 months to recover. In the end, Yesii was the one who told us, her family, “Don’t Worry,” and she was ready to go into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Heaven has gained an astonishing young woman who recently turned 24 while in the Cardiovascular ICU unit at Baylor Hospital FTW among her family & fantastic staff who fell in love with her too!

Yesenia’s family and friends are invited to join us in a celebration of her life. It shall be at Trinity Bible Church on 2:30 PM at Trinity Bible Church in Willow Park, TX. All attendees were specifically directed by Yesenia to absolutely NOT wear black, but bright and cheerful colors while we celebrate her life and accomplishments. There will be a reception immediately following at Trinity Bible Church Fellowship Hall.

Yesenia (Yesii) Abigail Lyons, de 24 años, tenía un entusiasmo por la vida que pocos llegan a alcanzar. Hay pocos entre la multitud de la humanidad que podrían siquiera acercarse a la forma en que vivió la vida con una inmensa capacidad de amar a los demás, luchar por ser la mejor en todo lo que se proponía hacer y vivir y amar continuamente de forma desinteresada. Ya sea por el feroz y amoroso compromiso de Yesii con su esposo, la firme devoción por su familia, el entusiasmo alucinante por su trabajo como enfermera de parto o su increíble adoración por los animales; Yesii vivió la vida hasta el final como la increíble luchadora.

Yesenia se graduó de OU en mayo de 2021, con una licenciatura en enfermería, donde fue la presidenta de su clase. Recientemente vivió en Lawton Oklahoma con su esposo, el primer teniente Michael Lyons. Aunque Yesenia fue un transplante de Oklahoma durante algunos años, era una tejana orgullosa y entusiasta de principio a fin.

Yesenia contrajo COVID en agosto. Ella luchó con valentía y sin miedo durante casi 4 meses para recuperarse. Al final, Yesii fue quien nos dijo a nosotros, su familia, "No se preocupen", y estaba lista para ir a los brazos de su Señor y Salvador, Jesucristo. ¡El Cielo ha ganado a una asombrosa joven que recientemente cumplió 24 años mientras estaba en la unidad de CVICU en Baylor Hospital FW entre su familia y el fantástico personal que se enamoró de ella también!
