Dora Yvonne Blackwell, passed away peacefully at age 92, Tuesday, July 26, 2022. Yvonne was born October 5, 1929, in Tin Top, TX to Andrew Jackson Campbell and Dora Proffett Campbell.
Yvonne worked as a QC Technician for several years before she retired. She had a servant's heart and loved helping others whenever she could. She loved volunteering at Manna in her leisure time.
Yvonne's hobbies included sewing and crocheting. She adored her family and friends and will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
Yvonne was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Blackwell, parents, and son, Gary Hicks.
Yvonne is survived by her granddaughter, Vicki Taylor and husband Bryan of Weatherford, TX, granddaughter, Jessica Gilder and husband Michael of Weatherford, TX, grandson, Brad Hicks and his wife Tiffany of Granbury, TX, great-grandchildren, Chris, Hunter, Mikey, Alexis, Jagger, Kutter, River, Gunner, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation 6:00 pm.-8:00 pm. Monday, August 1, 2022, at the Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel.
Graveside Service 10:00 am. Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at the Memory Gardens Cemetery.
